Here's a piece I did for Jon Schindehette's Art Order blog.  He had 78 entries for the contest, and somehow I managed to squeek out a tie for the winner's spot.  This is extra cool for this particular contest because the prize this time around is a comission for work in an upcoming Wizards of the Coast publication!  Very cool.  The other winner was Scott Purdy, so a big congrats to him and thanks to all those judges!

With Black Widow appearing in the new Iron Man movie I thought it would be fun to do a piece featuring this femme fatale.

Well, I'm back from Reverie (the Dallas workshop), which was a complete blast.  I spoke to and learned from many amazing artists and speakers.  I'm gonna try to share a bit more of my experiences in a future post, if time allows.

In the meantime, I have to urge you to run out and pick up the May issue of Heavy Metal magazine, which hits the stands this month. It features a four page spread of some of my illustration work from the last year or so.

Well, the site is finally starting to come together.  We've still got a few kinks to get ironed out, but the guys over at Outland Entertainment have done a pretty bang up job.

Also, today is the day I leave for Dallas to attend the Conceptart.org workshop. I've never been to one of these before, so I'm not sure quite what to expect.  But if the video below is any indication, it looks like it should be a blast!  Back in a few days!
